Brule County has a board of 5 commissioners elected for 4-year terms.
Commissioners are responsible for the care and preservation of all services in Brule County. They approve budgets, dictate policies and procedures, administer the various county departments, adopt resolutions and ordinances, and conduct planning and zoning decisions.
